Tasha's Oriental Journey
Hiroka and me went to Tobu department store in Ikebukuro station, and bought some bread - one type was green with azuki beans inside, one looked like a roll with azuki beans and custard cream (a mix between custard and cream, similar to the custard in a custard-doughnut but not as sweet), one was a croissant-like pastry with peanut-ty icing, riddled with almonds and one was Japanese garlic bread (a baguette with garlic oil on the outside).
Then we got the train home.
The tickets are quite small, and are made of thin rubber (similar to the poetry-magnets we have at home, only not magnetic).
We walked through the narrow street to Hiroka\'s flat where I\'ll be staying for the next month; everybody stared and me so its safe to say I felt QUITE self-conscious!
Back at the flat we ate the bread we bought, I sent a couple of emails, drank green tea and milky tea, and talked for hours!
After having a shower I tried to do my watchtower, but got to paragraph 11 and nearly fell asleep... so went to bed! It was 7.30pm!
