the workshop is over. thank you god. thanks to the help of Mollie, it went off without much trouble and was extremely successful. If I did nothing else for them the entire time...the workshop made it all worthwhile. They now have a new mission statement and timeline of goals and objectives for the next year, 3 years, 5 years, 15 years!!! They all were really happy with the outcome, so hopefully they can follow through on their goals and make even more of a difference for the youth on the coast of kenya.

I made dinner for the family again last night. Grandma Zimmerman's barbque sandwhiches were a hit! I tripled the recipe to feed the whole family (feeding 15 people is hard!) and through some chili peppers in there...and voila....history was made. My host mom knows how to make it now too...so they will be able to enjoy this delicious meal whenever they please.

today I'm off to a 5 star hotel with mollie to soak up some rays by the pool and get a free gourmet lunch...its good to have hook ups with people in powerful places. mollie has some extended family that owns or runs the hotel and they invited us for a day out before we left mombasa. sweeeet. After the past two days of stress it will be nice to just relax a bit.
