After our French McDonalds lunch, we headed for Nonant to the Drakkar Chocolate Museum. We got a bit lost so were a little late but we enjoyed a tour and talk all about the origins and making of chocolate. We all enjoyed the package if sweets we were all given - délicieux! Later we headed over to Caen castle and had a walk through the town, before returning to the hotel for spaghetti bolognese. Next came our bowling trip. We got into teams, ready to do battle....

The weather is lovely and we have had a great start to the trip. We settled into the hotel, then went down to the shopping centre for a look around the shops and the Carrefour supermarket. Lots of sweets and water guns were bought! We got back in time for dinner at 7pm. We had tomato, basil and mozzarella salad (which was delicious but most people don't like tomatoes!
