Hi Everyone

Well we have done it again and brought rain to Brisbane! For the past week it's been lovely and the day before we set off on our camping trip the heavens have opened. We are going to battle on hope that we don't float away in the tent. Prior to this the weather has been really nice and we have been havng fun with the family here and doing some touristy activities, catching up on some sleep and generally becoming lazy. Matt has been helping out with stuff and can now construct a fence so this will be added to the list of new careers. Katie has been perfecting her conversational skills whilst Matt works and assisting with the shopping.

You will see on the photos we have visited Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, been to Movie World and the Ekka, which is a massive fair and animal show for Queensland, which was good fun.

Sarah and Chris have been looking after us and let us stay, thanks guys. The dogs Holly and Ozzie have kept us entertained and taken us for a couple of walks. Uncle Michael and Aunty Kay have kindly given us a car to use a Ford Falcon (known to us as the beast), it's like riding around in a Tank. Everyone has chipped in with camping gear - so we are good to go, well apart from the rain.

So not loads of news from here, but we are both well and chilled out Oz style and ready to go off and have some more adventures. We are stopping off all the way up the North East Coast until we hit Port Douglas area and then heading back to Brisbane for about the 3rd week in October. Then we plan to get jobs for a while. We will try to keep in touch on the journey as much as we can.
