We arrived in ayers rock today, an interesting place!
It is very 'outback' and is a resort built especially for tourists visiting the rock. We are staying at the cheapest accommodation which was still really expensive as everything here is! Our room is, well....basic but it's only for 2 nights. We are going to see the rock by sunset tonight on a camel then it's an early pick up in the morning (4.45am) to see the sunrise and then we're walking round the rock.
The picture is our lunch that we bought from a supermarket. The cheapest way by far to do it, an evening buffet at our hotel is $54 each!!!!
