Finally made it to the top! Fab views. X

Sunrise at Uluru, a very early start for us and a little disappointing weather as it was quite overcast so didn't see much sunrise but got some cool pictures. After sunrise we walked up ayers rock to the top which is 343m with some really tricky bits. It was a tough climb but worth it at the top and we had breakfast with a view. This is our camel 'apollo' who took us on our sunset tour of ayers rock aka 'Uluru'. However it was quite cloudy and a little bit rainy so didn't see much of a sunset but really enjoyed our camel tour. Hopefully sunrise will be a little clearer in the morning, so an early start for us, being picked up at 4.45am!! Bed time I think! Xx

We arrived in ayers rock today, an interesting place! It is very 'outback' and is a resort built especially for tourists visiting the rock. We are staying at the cheapest accommodation which was still really expensive as everything here is! Our room is, well....basic but it's only for 2 nights.
