We decided to walk back into Sydney where it was the first night of a long festival starting, however on the way we noticed that we were the only people walking towards it and everyone else was walking away-the reason was because we had missed it! Bondi beach! The famous beach and it was lovely, very busy though but it is Saturday. It reminded us of Newquay in Cornwall. We were told that the sea was nice and warm- they lied!! It was freezing, we decided to skip the surfing and wait until we are in warmer waters in Port Douglas. Xx

This is Manley beach, we took a boat ride out to here after visiting bondi this morning and it is a very nice place, and there was a movenpick ice cream place, Mmm! However the wind was very strong and quite cool so we couldn't really sunbathe much here. The sea was also freezing here so we didn't venture in! We went to darling harbour just as an amazing fire works display started! This is apparently done every Saturday night, that might explain why the drinks are $9 a bottle of beer and a sibgle cinema ticket $30 = £20!! It was an excellent display, made up for the poor effort that hong kong made at new year and beat Betley bonfire hands down!

This was our view on the boat back from Manley beach. Amazing view of Sydney, a place we are going to miss. Xx
