Hello from a hot and dusty Mysore!
We have found the Internet and thought it was about time to give our followers an insight into whats going on. Since our last installment we have been on two trains, many Tuk Tuks and slept in 5 different places in 5 days.
Our train to Bangalore was of the overnight variety and after a confusing few hours working out the platform layouts (which platform the trains coming it at, which direction the trains coming from and then consequently which one of the 20 sub platforms you need to stand on for your train all of which are numbered but depending on which direction the trains coming depends on the number........) we made it with a little help from some pushy railway workers and found our seats. We were sharing a compartment with a family from Bangalore who were pleasant enough although it seems we both spent the entire working out if their child was male or female, looked like a boy but had sparkley jeans and pink shoes on! We slept exceptionally well on our bottom bunks, although Em i believe was close to violence as the dude opposite snored like we've never heard before!
Bangalore was similar to Delhi, a little quieter but just complete chaos. We were at our hotel early so slept a while then ventured out to find food, you will be pleased to know we had some fruit! We also took in our first Indian fast food place, an experience and we had two massalla dosas each which i believed to be round balls stuffed with potato curry, i was half right but not really balls more like pancakes!
Before we knew it we were back on the train in our seats and off to Mysore, the train again was good but the platforms confused us once more, we befriended some Australians who it appears were on our cycle trip, spooky! We got free food on the train to which was a bonus! Really good soup. Non spicy for a change.
Since then we have met our group for cycling, theres 18 of us (remembering names will be tricky!) and been paired up with our bikes, which coincidently are Treks and exactly the same as what we used to work on back at the emporium. We wandered with the group round Mysore market and picked up some incense, we got loads for just over a pound and visited the palace which was mental, it coincided with a religious festival and there were hundreds of thousands of people in there. We all wandered round bare foot, it was quite liberating!
We are off for dinner shortly with the group and then bed i think. First ride on the bikes tomorrow, there is an optional hill climb but i fear that may come to soon.
Quick Em update:- the colds still hanging about but improving, and quote of the day today would be when some Indians tried taking her picture she exclaimed "Im not a frigging zoo animal!".
Must dash.

P.s the Pee off needs to take place in a western toilet although to the totally authentic there needs to be foot rests under the toilet seat.
