BUENOS AIRES - MENDOZA... FROM EAST TO WEST, CITY TO COUNTRY

Lesson 1: When buying art abroad and from somewhere you're unlikely to visit again anytime soon, buy the piece of art there and then if you've fallen in love with it! I fell in love with one piece of art in Buenos Aires but thought to save the hassle and time of lugging it around I'll get it on the morning of leaving the capital for Mendoza. WRONG! For one thing, the amazing final night in BA meant that Rich and I didn't have such amazing feeling heads the day of departure. So after a couple of extra hours in bed, we finally gout ourselves down to the artist's spot to find the spot was vacant. Not a great start to the day.

Lesson 2: Don't leave it till the last minute to leave and know exactly which direction you're going in for when you get the tube! We missed the semi-cama so hung around the bus station for a couple of hours. Finally got on the bus and ready for another long journey but very excited about Mendoza, the Andes and wine!
