Good bye steady, reliable job and hello (or rather Hola!) to 74 days of unpredictable travels, exciting new cultures and amazing, breath-taking scenery across South America! Should Rich and I manage to keep from getting lost in the Amazon or being stuck up a mountain somewhere in the Andes, then we should make it around Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador! I loved your last set of pics. you know me - love a bit of history! Really fascinating, especially the bit about the 2001 protests and the 30,000 people that went missing. And Eva Peron's grave! I'm so jealous you're seeing so much culture.
