Hi!
So I'm a little miffed because I made some videos to upload on here and they are too big, or something like that. I don't quite understand. It's irritating though. And the internet here is SOOOOOOOOO slow!!! UGH! Drives me insane.
Yesterday we (Kerri, Bryan and I) went to Playa Jaco for the day. It was really nice. And we all got roasted! It's not too far away, but you have to pass through the mountains - so it's up and down, round and round for 3 hours. Man I was so sick!!! And I even wore my motion sickness bracelet. I forgot my pills, but this weekend when we go to Manuel Antonio I won't (its in the same direction, just an hour longer.) I'm popping those and passing out!!!! lol... So, Playa Jaco... nothing special to it, but it's a cute town. I guess it's a party town, but we were only there during the day. It was my first time in the Pacific Ocean, so that was cool. And I was totally stoked to see surfers!! Though some of them really sucked! hahahaha! I must admit the waves were really soothing and cool, but I prefer the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific.
Let's see, what else.... I've been sort of working out. I tried a spinning class, but it kicked my ass like nothing else, hahaha. WAY too intense for me. I only made it like 1/3 of the way through. We've also been going to a class called, Baile Popular, and its hella fun. The instructor is from Africa, and man can he shake it. When he puts on his African music and starts shaking everything he owns, I'm just like you go guy, because I wouldn't even know where to start with that! hahahaha!! So that's fun. We try and make it to both sessions a week, but sometimes we go places with our instructors in the AM so can't make one session.
This weekend we're going to Manuel Antonio, which is also on the Pacific, and is supposed to be one of the best beaches in CR. It also has a biological reserve, so we're going to do a tour of that - plus it has hidden beaches in there. So we'll see how it goes.
Cheri - I called and talked to Mom yesterday, and then talked to the kids. Cole was too busy watching Dumbo, so only talked to him for like 2 seconds (hahaha) but Kahlan was a blabber mouth. But (my point) her language is so much better even just since I've been here. I was quite impressed.
Ok, not much else. I posted a couple new photos, but didn't have too many. We're going to some park in San Jose on Thursday and then leave Friday night for Manuel Antonio (and Kerri and I come back Monday, everyone else comes back Sunday). Hopefully will have some cool pictures from there. Also, my friend is sending me her pictures and she has some good ones (from times when I didn't bring my camera) so I'll post those soon as well.
Ciao All!
