�Hello Everyone!

This weekend we all went to Manuel Antonio on the Pacific Ocean. Our NIU professor joined us. We went to the biological reserve located there and of course, to the beach! It was so gorgeous. My favorite place so far. In the park, we saw monkeys, a sloth, and tons of lizards. They even have �hidden� coves with gorgeous beaches. My friend Albert and I spent a couple of hours in the ocean playing in the waves. It was HYSTERICAL!! You see, Albert is this skinny, little white guy who is scared of his own shadow. In his own words, �They should drain the ocean and filter it so that when we come in it we don�t have to worry about all the little things that are in it�.... He is just too much. Anyhow, we go in the ocean (he wouldn�t go by himself) and he was like a kid in the candy store. He was running at each wave, holding his breath and ducking under them, and also being carried away by them. They were so strong you had to hold onto your swimsuit so it wouldn�t be carried away too. It was so much fun, but there were tons of surfers around, so it was a bit dangerous! God, I haven�t laughed so hard in a VERY long time.

Not much else happened there. Well, except someone in our group broke my sunglasses, then laid out the broken pieces side by side on my hotel bed, and then didn�t have the balls to tell me that they did it. Yeah. It pissed me off. I really didn�t care about the glasses, they were only 5 bucks, but I was pissed that no one would admit to it. Bunch of shady b****es that they are. I have a pretty good idea who it was, but I can�t prove it. So yeah, definitely was feeling my age this weekend with all their immaturity. Four weeks left, that�s what I keep telling myself. God help me through it.
