Just filled the tank at Musgrave. Spent the night at salt creek camp. It was a beautiful quiet spot with paperbark trees by the creek

Left Cairns this morning andtravwlled via the daintree and Bloomfield treck to cooktown. We stppowdcat blomfield falls and saw a cocodile in a Rick a few feet away. The Bloomfield is a 4WD track after getting into Cooktown. We walked up the hill to the lighthouse at sunset. Fantastic views of the river and sea. A beatiful area and so remote!!

We made it to rockhampton on the second day! Staying at the travelodge executive suite and having dinner at Saigon restaurant on the riverfront Lots of nice old buildings here by the river and amuch bigger town than I expecter
