Summer is hot and kicking here. I love the heat and find that it even seems fresh on days under 30C. As of august I'll be heading south to Sicilia and Calabria. For now however, I'm biking a lot. There's a lovely route called torrecelle that loops up into the hills above Verona. There are vineyards, olive groves, fig orchards, agriturism farms and fields with vistas over the city. And, after a good crash on my last free bike, I've splurged and bought a good used one that fits all my needs. In the heat of the day the cicadas are in surround sound and there's nothing better than a good sweaty bike ride. :)
