Zena drove around in the hire car today (did a great job) and we headed to Chester which took us under the Mersey River by tunnel , it was again a chilly wind and snow was predicted but didn't occur. Chester was quaint and we did a open top bus tour , that was good value , we braved the cold and sat up top , surprisenly busy little place. Lovely old buildings with some remaining Romen ruins.
