Arrived in the beautiful island of Koh Samui yesterday, after spending 11hours on a coach and 3 hours on a boat. But it is definitely worth it. The sea is very very blue, the sand is white (and hot) and we are staying in a little beach hut, just 3 metres from the water. Have met some cool people, one of which is from Surbiton of all places! Had our first Tuk-Tuk experience yesterday, very scary. They drive about 60mph (its a bit like gta) and there are no seatbelts or doors! On our most recent tuk-tuk ride the driver nearly crashed into the car in front, braking with millimetres to spare. Last night we went to see a ping-pong show. Hello! Finally we are in Thailand! Its hot...about 35 degress, even at 10pm. Jonny is a sweaty mess. Bangkok is amazing and crazy, like nothing I have ever experienced.
