Milla and Jonny's Travels
Had our first Tuk-Tuk experience yesterday, very scary. They drive about 60mph (its a bit like gta) and there are no seatbelts or doors! On our most recent tuk-tuk ride the driver nearly crashed into the car in front, braking with millimetres to spare.
Last night we went to see a ping-pong show. For those of
you who don't know what that entails, you don't need to know. This turned into what the Thais like to call a "f***ey" show. Oh dear. But we got a free drink so it was okay.
On a different note, we went temple touring. The pictures we have posted don't do justice to how amazing the statues and buildings are. The Standing Buddha is about 15 times our height. It was a Buddhist holiday yesterday so everything was super cheap, we got driven around in a tuk-tuk for three hours for 20 Baht (About 30p). A bit different to london cabbies!
Last night we drank a bucket of Gin and Tonic in a petrol station that had been converted into a bar, with a converted VW Van as the bar itself which was very cool!
