Hello! Finally we are in Thailand! Its hot...about 35 degress, even at 10pm. Jonny is a sweaty mess. Bangkok is amazing and crazy, like nothing I have ever experienced. The Thais drive insanely - 2 minutes after venturing from our hostel room we witnessed a four by four plow into the side of a moped, the driver of which wasn't wearing a helmet and flew 2 metres. Crossing the road here is slightly treacherous to say the least! Just visited the Khaosan Road, where we ate a substantial meal for just 40 pence each. Buff. We've also just seen our first lady boy, which was exciting, and Jonny nearly got robbed. There is lots of shopping to be had, including loads of fake adidas trainers that cost about 2 pounds, I can't wait to spend all my money. Tomorrow we are going to become culture vultures in the many Temples and placfe bets on some Thai kickboxing!
