So who was going to be my seat buddy on this trip.... well as it turns out it was a double edge sword. I wondered down the isle as I got on pretty late and can't see anyone sitting in the seat next to me (on the 3 in a row setup) that was because it was a little 2yr old Dora quitely sitting there taking up hardly any room of this massive chair playing on her mums ipad.
This could be good i think. pretty quite kid, looks well behaved.... Well now i know how a 4.5hr flight can turn so ugly so quickly. Dora was pretty happy playing away on the game for a whole 30min then she took to nattering away with her mum for a further 1.5hrs (which was ok i could deal with that.... better than a screaming figity kid i suppose) Ah what treats! the following 1.5hrs she was screaming, fidgiting, flapping about.. i had to keep getting out to let them through.... oh dear lord! what a nightmare.... then the little b***** conks out in the last 30mins of the trip and starts to snore! seriously?? i guess i needed to stay awake on this flight... but really i could have thought of better ways.
Anyways after that odeal i'm really looking to getting to my accomodation and streatching out. Customs were cool, happy to let me take my heat pack through and cheese, immigration were also really nice had a bit of a chat with my immegration officer.... she said she would give google a call for me ;) then jumped into a taxi and checked into my accomodation. Went out a got 2 slices of pizza... turn out that is the equilivant to 1 whole pizza in Oz... so that was my first dinner out in Toronto! Hopefully more exciting things to come in the next few weeks.
So 20+ hrs of travel... Done! next getting over jet lag... i should be sleeping rather than posting these! GNyt!
