Sorry for the lack of updates guys, things were a bit hectic arriving yesterday...but I'm here now!
Camp is great, it's typical american woodlands with great cabins all over the place. I've hand first hand experience with hoew bloody huge this place is as I was given the illustrious job of mowing most of it today! You could seriously just mow all day everyday and you'd never run out of bloody grass to cut!
The other counsellors here at the moment are really cool, there's a whole of bunch of kiwis and Aussies and a few mexicans and also a girl from the Ukraine. Everyone's been really friendly and the work isn't too hard (after day 1 is clearly a good indication hehe). Bunks are really basic but comfy and there's hot water. Food is ok, there's a big dinning hall with your average America grub.
The most interesting thing will be this weekend with the "Alternative lifestyle" group setting up. There's been giant cages, studded massage tables and all kinds of freaky stuff and I've been warned to just expect the most incredibly random sights.
It's bloody cold over here at the moment with temps around 18-21, but I'm thinking that might be a blessing in disguise considering the weekend events planned. They might have to move indoors hopefully.
Anyway things are great, I haven't lost/broken/stolen/been arrested for anything yet so things are peachy. I'm in the process of getting a phone card to call home so you'll just have to wait! The bloody card CCUSA gave me lasted about 2mins! USELESS!
Hope all is well and keep me updated with happenings back in the land down under.
