Another morning of rain and uncertainty about the fate of our vehicle. Will it be just the alternator or something worse. This could be an extended stay in Cooroy. We decided to bus it to Noosa, only 30 km away and hire a car to see a few sites , we could be here a while. Weekend coming up and not much happening in Cooroy.
We picked up a little Nissan Tida and headed for the beach. The weather is still bleak but no torrential. The surf at Noosa was awesome huge swell everywhere. This looks like a great place to live, no work but just great fun. Fishing surfing and parties.
We took off for a walk around the Noosa headland through some thick bush but within viewing distance of the coast absolutely breathtaking scenery. My fitness is to be questioned but I did make it all the way around.
We did get some good news about the car and will be picking it up on Friday. The alternator was RS because the power steering was leaking fluid onto it. The power steering was fixed and the alternator replaced. Looks like we are heading north tomorrow. Of cause this is if the mechanic begins on our car first, As If.
Back to the RSL for a few beers a few raffles and of cause Keno. We won a cook in the raffle, unfortunately it was raw. We donated it back to the RSL.
Back to Cooroy motel to watch Hamish and Andy.
