Finally left Cooroy, and began our trip north. The car is running beautiful and we are feeling confident no more trouble. First stop was Hervey bay. Most car parks were full at the marina but there weren't many people around. We think that most people must be over at Frazer island as the ferry leaves from here. Besides the jetty and the marina there wasn't much to see. We did walk to the end of the jetty, about half the length of the Busselton jetty . There were lots of people fishing but no fish. The fish being caught were small herring about the size of your hand. We would throw them back in WA in fear of a fisheries officer biting your arse, not here, must be different rules.
We took off again in the afternoon and headed to Bundaberg. We've set up camp and pigged out on sausages, eggs, noodles and mushrooms. This is a bit different to the roast meals and schooners we have had at the RSL. Maybe we should head back to Cooroy.
