We get up and head straight to the beach. The guy who runs the hostel tells us a better way and this time we walk through seminyak centre. This is a shopping town and the shops look amazing! The walk to the beach is still ages and we're tired by the time we get there so stop for a little sunbathe on the shore line. We walk along to find the beach bar we were at yesterday and go into the one next to it for lunch and set up at the front of this to sunbathe. There is more of a breeze here so much easier to sit out in the sun, we might actually get a bit of colour today!! Before the sun goes down too far Hannah and I go in for a paddle and as everyone is swimming we brave it and go in deeper, we researched yesterday and there are no sharks. The waiter in the restaurant didn't even know what we were talking about when we said sharks and our actions didn't help! We took that as a good sign!! The sea was amazing, the waves were huge! Can't believe it's taken us this long to get in! We head back to our original beach bar for a drink and some shade. I sit and start my new book, the prologue is really sad and I tell Hannah and Sarah about it. Hannah tells us she doesn't ever read them so probably missed the story line! We have another lovely dinner and Hannah and I buy some Naked eye shadows for 100,000 a palette (about £7!) After dinner we get a taxi back to the hostel, we barter better and get it cheaper tonight! The hostel is buzzing again and we talk to a girl who is a 'property developer' in London and is going to build a hostel out here. Her dad builds hotels around the world so she had been to 47 countries! We get in the showers (there are four) and the power cuts out, it stops the hot water and we carry on washing in pitch black. This happens a couple more times. We sit down to find accommodation for the next few nights. We find some lovely places and make a rough itinerary for the rest of the holiday to make sure we can fit in everything we all want to do and see if there are any spare days. We try to book a few places but the wifi isn't very good and so were not sure if we've booked or not. I have a headache from over doing it a bit so we decide to try again in the morning. It's Nicola's birthday today and she has been in London with mum so I message her before going to sleep.
