A big hello from up in the mountains! We're 10,000 ft up and it feels good! Breckenridge is a beautiful place - basically a trendy ski resort with other stuff to do too. Best of all, the altitude gives you an excuse for anything and everything! It gets you drunk quicker, with one pint here apparently being equal to three at normal height. Should be interesting. People here blame the altitude on literally anything - it's hilarious! The water boils slowly, altitude, you're tired, the altitude. Today we've just been exploring the town and doing a bit of walking. We were gonna get bikes but put that off until tomorrow as we weren't feeling energetic enough. Curse that altitude! We're off out tonight (our first evening out for a week, I might add), so I'll keep you informed as to whether the alcohol effect rings true. The mountains here are gorgeous and the air is so clean and crisp  - I sound like a wet lettuce, I know - but it's such a nice change from the cities and a welcome change of pace. I'm off now as my fingers are getting tired. Must be the altitude.
