Today Sharon and I visited the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. This was reached by a pleasent river boat trip about 20k up river, past one of the largest Flying Fox bat colonies in the country. So today, we braved public transportation. Sharon and I walked up about 6 blocks to Brisbane Central Station to catch a train out to Beerwah, Queensland the home of Australia Zoo.
