Hey Kids!!

I've been having the time of my life at Gaia! Just left there today and had an extremely enjoyable time!! Met a number of very nice ladies and a few fine gents and we spent our meals pretty much
laughing our fool heads off!!! (Big shout out from Shazzer to my girls: Linda, Isabelle, Richelle, Jane and Sandra and my gent Stuart!!)

ONJ was not present but that did not take away from the experience one little bit! Although Leanne, their manager, bore a striking resemblance to Ms O! She even sounds like her...but no relation.
I could have sat around and listened to her all day too, she has a lovely voice...in fact, so did everyone else!! Be still my heart!! (OMG, I love the Aussies!!! They also have a great sense of
humor!!)

I spent my days in quiet contemplation, taking several walks each day around the track (which was mostly grass, dirt, and, oh yeah, the big turkey nest smack dab in the middle of the path that had grown daily!! The other day two turkeys popped out of it! I just kept walking, hoping they were passive and not attackers!!). Also, having sacrificed a pair of old running shoes in the process as it
rained off and on during my whole stay!! I'm thankful I took the old pair with me!!

The views of the "hinterlands" are wonderful. You could see the ocean looking east (from either the highest point on the property, called "Samira Lookout" or from the deck of the yoga room) and beautiful countryside in all other directions. The room I had was excellent, right inside the entrance and one of the closest to the "Kukura House", which is where we ate our meals and could relax on the many couches in doors and tables on outside deck area. (I will post pix next week.)

The staff at Gaia were great! They were very accomodating and I got on well with Leanne, their manager, and Gregg, Olivia's business partner/general manager. Gregg and I clicked immediately and traded quips on a fairly regular basis!! The service/wait staff were also terrific!! They picked up our names quickly and called us by them whenever they saw us! I will be heading back to Gaia at
some point in time...sooner if I find myself a "sugar mama" to treat me in a manner I could become accustomed to this trip!!! ;)~
