Dear Diary (18/12), Left Kaikoura for Wellington via the ferry across the Cook Strait, which was alot choppier than previous crossing! Dear Diary (03/12), Went white water rafting in the morning for a few hours. Some of the rapids were classed as grade 5 (they only go up to 6 & only experts are allowed on these). Sounds exciting & thrilling but to be honest I was a little dissappointed that it wasn't more dangerous, although I did have a wicked time even with the aches & pains of paddling & throwing myself all over the boat!
