We go to immigration but when we get there we run into all sorts of issues, paul and Jordan haven't brought the passport photo's with them and we all need a photocopy of our passport stamp. When they get back gaz goes first but is told that he can only get 7 days and will still need to do a visa run to the border, only after he's paid 2000 bath do they inform us of this. We decide to all do a visa run and head back to the hotel.

We change our ferry again, add more days to our stay in the hotel and book onto a visa run for the next day. We go for breakfast and one of the girls from the TAT office finds us and says that the boss wants to take us for a tour of Phuket town.

The boss is called boy. First we are taken to one of the viewpoints overlooking the whole city, the view is spectacular. We are then taken just around the corner to a temple with a huge gold budda. The temple is covered with gold and carvings but it's really hot today and our feet are scalded by the hot floor.

We visit a small temple and then Phuket butterfly and insect world. Gaz is scared of butterflies do I stay outside with him while Jordan and Paul go inside.

Boy then takes us to the jewelry manufacturer. They have all sorts of gem stones and it's so cheap, blue topaz set in a tear drop but no chain and it's £20. I buy some gifts for everyone and them we head for a suit shop. The suits turn out to be massively expensive in this shop and the salesman keeps going on about the best quality. We manage to escape after 30 or so minutes and head for sone food.

Boy drops us at a really nice restaurant near the hotel. The food is good and we order loads but as we are eating some guy upstairs starts welding and gaz and Jordan are hit with a shower of sparks. Health and safety are not the highest priority out here.

That evening we get a call saying that there is only 1 space on the visa run bus. Gaz takes the place and the rest of us are going back to immigration tomorrow as we only need a 7 day extension.

Me and gaz go for a walk around that night looking for somewhere for a massage and stumble onto a seedy looking door with a security guard, he backons us inside so we do and head up some stairs. As we round the corner there is a glass case infront of us filled with Thai girls. We are told that we get everything for 2900 bath. Gaz has a go at haggling '2900 bath... What can we get for 1500?' 'goodbye'.

We head for a foot massage near the hotel and it's the best so far. When were done I feel so tired and relaxed.
