Early this morning gaz heads to Myanmar and the rest of us go to the immigration office. Boy takes us there and then takes us to kata beach. It's really hot so I only last 30 minutes or so in the sun till I retreat for some shade. We all go in the sea and it's not as warm as koh phangan and gets deeper a lot quicker. Feels refreshing except for all the salt. We sunbathe for a little longer and head for a snack before going back to the hotel to meet up with gaz....

We go to immigration but when we get there we run into all sorts of issues, paul and Jordan haven't brought the passport photo's with them and we all need a photocopy of our passport stamp. When they get back gaz goes first but is told that he can only get 7 days and will still need to do a visa run to the border, only after he's paid 2000 bath do they inform us of this. We jump in a tuktuk and head for some food near Phuket town beach. The driver misunderstands and takes us to the beach and then drives us for some food after we correct him. We are taken to a seafood restaurant which is right on the seafront. No-one opts for seafood. The tuktuk waits for us and we ask to go to a place for some drinks. After a few minutes we rock up at a place with loads of young Thai girls outside, he's taken us to a f*** bar but it's only 3pm....

Massive headache today so I spend until 4pm sorting that. We go to a place called roxy bar for drinks and our tea. Free pool and the footy is on. Excellent. We decide to sort our visa's out only to be told that the immigration office is only open Monday to Friday and it's Saturday today. We decide to extend our stay in Phuket till Monday.

We arrived at our hotel - phuket centre apartments phuket town in the early hours and are shown to our room, it's really nice with a/c and a sofa in the room. It gets better when the porter leaves another rooms key so we have the a/c on none stop. I wake early and go for a haircut, grade 4 all over. I'm pleasantly surprised when it looks good.
