We arrive in Surat thani or so we thought at around 6am after a somewhat reasonable nights sleep. From the train we got on a coach held together with more filler than there is metal, really surprised when it has good a/c. Turns out that the bus journey takes 2 hours to get to the port. The ferry then takes another 2 hours to reach koh phangan.

When we dock we instantly realise that the journey is worth it. We arrive at holiday beach and get our keys, I go for a look at the villas and there both amazing, one overlooking the pool and the other looking straight out to sea. Me and gaz decide on the sea view and it turns out to be a good call as the other only has a double bed.

We have a steady night and drink on the beach outside our villas.
