Today we did lots of walking. First we did the domes loop. It is about a 700m walk into a pond and a rock where water comes down in the wet season. We saw a small pond with lots of little frogs (there is a special photo for you Nanny!) The walk was a nice easy walk on a sandy dry river bed.
Next we went to Cathedral Gorge. This is a beautiful gorge. There was a pond of green water - this is because no fresh water has been coming in (until it rains again). Cathedral gorge has lots of sand and rocks. We were standing under a huge sandstone rock. This walk was more up and down over rocks.
Finally we went to Picanniny Look Out. There was a flat open plain with large rocky domes and a dry river bed. Mum and Dad thought it would be amazing to see in the wet season when the river was flowing.
