Eight hours on a plane is NOT my idea of heaven! Especially when we had to saunter through the premier section first. Little pods with SOFT recliners and footstools. Very jealous. For about2 seconds we thought they might be for us...
Dinner: chicken in a leek sauce with tiny pasta/large rice (still unsure of this substance!)
Breakfast: continental muffin and fruit pot.
What pleased us was the fact the air hostess looked at us and said 'two wine glasses each?' Haha. So of course we agreed. :-)
Getting through immigration was a different experience for the two of us.
Immigration Officer: Good morning.
Me: Good morning.
IO: How long are you staying in India?
Me: Just until Friday.
IO: Are you working here?
ME: No, I'm a tourist.
IO: Do you work?
Me: Yes, I'm a teacher.
IO: Ooh teacher?
Me: Yes, Primary.
Me: 4-11 years.
IO: Do you like Delhi?
Me: This is my first visit.
IO: What will you do here?
Me: Oh just touristy things. We're going to see the Taj Mahal!!
IO: Are you married?
IO: Where is your husband?
Me: I don't have one.
IO: Ah. (Looks down at age on passport) It's too late.
IO: Maybe your husband is in India?
Me: Haha. Maybe.
Laura: Good morning!
