Well we survived customs and got out of the airport. Escaping the taxi scouts outside the airport was another story! 'Do you want a taxi?' (We had only just stepped foot outside of the airport)
'I'm a taxi driver'
Our 'no thank you' didn't seem to be enough. We were following Farida's advice about booking with an airport cab and not random men who shout at you to get into their car! Anyway, we escaped and found ourselves on a random piece of AstroTurf with a taxi company (and it's chief booker) in front of us.
We finally got into a taxi and whizzed our way through hectic and crazy Delhi traffic until we arrived at our hotel. The 700rupees we paid was a bargain...even if there were moments when we were risking our lives!
