Last summer Maz made frinds with some Coloradians who she visited and stayed in contact with. Therefore it was little surprise that we swung by Durango to see them again.

We met her friend Daniel Finn at the Boarding Hous where he works, picked up some food from the supermarket and heading back to his house on the highway where we were to stay for 5 nights. Having eaten dinner we took it in turns to scrub the last few days crud off ourselves in the shower. We wanted to relax after a action packed few days and did so with the help of Captain Morgans Private Stock rum. We spent the rest of the evening hanging out with Daniel and his band mates from Liquid Revoloution (myspace/liquidrev - feel free to check them out if your into rock).

The next couple of days we followed Daniel round like a couple of lemmings. We went to watch a skate park competition, where Daniel competed on BMX and his band played, enjoyed the delights of all you can eat ribs, partied at Daniels parents which led to us attending Daniels cousins wedding, Pez jammed with a country band, we earnt $40 filming at an arts festival, jumped off 50 ft waterfalls and relaxed in some natural hot springs.

After a nice break from driving we hit the road again towards new mexico. So far we had travelled 1800 miles since we picked up the red shark!
