We have finally managed to book a car & our adventures after Woodward are in high gear! The plan is to drive from LA to Colorado & back within 15days. We will be stopping off at various states on the way & have planned some exciting things to see. All will be revealed later on in the blog journey.

Our skateboarding has been advancing quite well. Pez has accomplished the ollie & dropping in & maz is not too far behind him!

Yesterday maz's duty as a counselor was to assist at the pool & she decided to take part in the log roll contest, which involves trying to stay on a free spinning log on the pool longer than your opponent. Maz was up against gymnast girls who do cartwheels on beams all day, so unfortunately she did not even make it past the first round However, this was also the first time she had been on the log roll this year, so it was bound to happen

After the contest we went to watch another contest, but this time on dry land...it was the 'high ollie' contest. Some of the kids here are amazing & can ollie so high! Pez got some snaps of the crazy fun & one is in the photo section.

Maz got pretty determined to get better at the log roll, so after the ollie contest, we went back to the pool & played on the log roll for several hours until we could roll no more! It was super fun!
