The journey from Koh Phangan to Phuket was always going to be a problem with my foot and it was.Still not knowing the ratio of Thai time to normal we were due to leave at 11am and arrive at 8:30pm that evening and all seemed to be above board when the tuktuk left on time and so did our ferry.Then the problems started and we were all ushered on to the bus where we presumed would head to Surat Thani where we had been before when making our way from Bangkok around...

After that epic journey we jumped off the mad ferry and tried to find some accommodation.I actually had an address i knew was close to the main area for backpackers and when showing a few taxi drivers he magically knew where it was.He dropped us off half way and when i asked where it was before he left he pointed down there....was it....was it b******s.So i popped into a 7/11, got a drink and asked if they knew where it was.I was sent next door to a dodgey look...

Blimey, this badboy is getting less and less appealing by the day it's 6:40am and i set off from Bangkok just under 13 hours ago heading to the Thai Island of Koh Samui.I've got to wait another hour before my boat which will take another 6/7 hours....not much fun when you only managed to get about an hour sleep on the bus which will rock up and we have no accommodation sorted L. Just heading out of Chiang Mai to Chiang Khong which is on the Laos border to catch the slow boat down to Luang Prabang.We have spent 4 nights 5 days here in Chiang Mai and i can say it has been very eventful to say the least and has the 2 best days of my life in it.
