I am in LA, only got two minutes left of internet, i'll update this later...I've seen all the sights today including Beverly Hills and where all the famous people hang out, the weather is nice and hot, although apparently is pretty cold for LA, but for us Brits, it's hot! I have a burnt nose to prove it haha
Ventured into a scientology church this evening too, after a couple of beers, and took a personality test, what a load of rubbish, and a stress test, I have none!! They couldn't convert me so don't worry!
Only annoying thing is I'm stuck in Hollywood and nowhere near a beach, so tomorrow I am hiring a Mustang for $70 (35 quid) a day and driving to the nice beaches where all the bikinis are!! Will be different driving over here, they're well aggressive drivers!!
Sorry if all the entries in this blog are brief, having too much fun and not much time to write them!! Bought a new torch today and everything over here is half price!
Now in a room with a German and a Polish bloke, and Dan (who is of some kind of origin although not sure!)
First impressions of LA are good, nice and relaxed atmosphere compared with New York, better weather too! Went out on the town last night to some very expensive bars and clubs with a group of German and Austrian girls, a kiwi bloke and a couple of blokes from Southend...
Went out last night and wandered into a weapons store where they dared us to let them taser us, only me and the kiwi bloke dared to do it, was pretty shocking, but it wasn't turned up to full power thank god!
We leave LA tomorrow morning and my impressions of it have been mixed. For example, the atmosphere is relaxed and the weather is hot (most of the time) but there isn't much to do and there are far to many crazy weirdos shouting and talking to you wherever you go! Some are just eccentric, others are mad, we were having breakfast this mrning in our favourite diner when a man got up and started shouting about the drugs he's been subscribed and how they aren't working and that we live in a racist society! not quite what I expected at breakfast!
Forward this onto anyone else who may be interested!
Adios!
