Where Thailand ends Cambodia begins and although only seperated by a short border crossing the two countries seem worlds apart! Clay, downtrodden, muddy roads lead us from Poipet to Siem Reap where we've spent the last three days devouring the magnicent temples of Ankor Wat. They were an awe inspiring tribute to the wonders of ancient civialisations. However they quickly became repetative:)
Cambodia's rural communities provided more captivating scenery including a floating village, a snake eating child, road side palm sugar manufacturers and push bikes carrying enough cargo to stock a local supermarket even it that supermarket floats by along the river!
From here we travel to Kratie hoping to glimpse some endangered dolphins, hopefully they're not too endangered or the trip may not be worthwhile!
More pictures to come when the internet speed is anything other than snail like. Miss you and thanks for the continuing messages, M+C X
