Stef Hey kidder Sorry to hear first impressions of India not too good, its a very noisy country and the horn WILL drive you mad! If your heading up to Darjeeling you should definitely make the journey up to Sikkim and the Himalayas... not to be missed! I'd give the cable car in Darjeeling a miss though, I don't think its too safe. Well.. we just got back from Primavera Sound in Barcelona which was absolutely mint! Saw Portishead, Edan, Public Enemy, The Go Team, Devo and loads of random bands that are new faves. And Barcelona is sooo cool.. gonna buy a proper swashbuckling boat and set up home in the harbour. Michael Greetings dumbledoor!!!! And Ciara. How is it going, round at Dad and your ma's!!! Fun as usual, off back to the toon on the next available train!!! Ha ha, nah came up last night ( Wednesday ) and returning first thing tomorrow. All is good in Newcastle, settled in quite well, mastered the art of harming myself by electricity, 2 times in 5 mins the other day!! Happy days. Sorry I haven't been in touch much on this thing, but me and the info superhighway don't really mix. Just made my 1st purchase on e - bay, but I haven't the foggiest how I get the bloke to deliver it, so we will see. Anyhow enough chit chat, UTD won the cup, ( European, I guess wherever you are they don't have the Sun to keep you abreast of current affairs!! ) Ronaldo missed a penalty in the shoot out and Chesles were all set to win, then JT construed to fall over as he kicked his penalty, and all was well in the world. Van der Elf saved from le grand sulk, and we won. Game of the century apparently.... still its only early on. Anyhow enjoy yoourselves, and invest in some sun cream, like a pair o lobsters!!! Ha ha. Kathryn (& Chris) Hey, Latest pics are amazing - it looks like the sort of stuff you see on Tomb Raider..! And I love love love the elephants. Everyones fine over in the Toon. Gary has finally got his CRB check through and is off to Korea (I forget whether it's North or South - it's the less dodgy one anyway) to teach in a couple of weeks. Think Katy is joining him out there in September. Helen is still beavering away at Boom and is moving to Gateshead this summer, and Pie (Bryan) and Nat are both doing well on their courses. As for us, we got moved OK and are enjoying the new house - particularly the nice weather we've had recently that has let us get out in the garden. brian and laura Well Pinky, What happened to the pinky you're starting to get brown. We just looked through all your pics now, we have been busy fighting (married life.) Looks like your having a great time. Thailand is amazing isn't it? Laura loved the beauty of Kata, I loved the sleaziness of Patong Beach. Phi Phi was defo my personal fave. looks like you're both having a fab time. enjoy the sunbathing and snorkelling/scuba diving. 3 pieces of Thailand related advice for ya : watch out for the leeches if you're rafting after your trek lol, mind your valuables on the over night buses and try not to drink too many of those buckets of so called joy! LOL. take care of yourselves and keep the pics coming!!
