I just read your blog on Agra and the traffic. The traffic is horrendous but the thing that blew me away was watching an ambulance with it's siren on being stuck in traffic. No body moved out of it's way. For some amazing reason it kept it's siren on, which just surpasses the general traffic noise and you're ready to go insane by the time you get out of it's hearing range. India - not sure that it i have any need to see any more of it. I had 4 days on the way to Nepal and saw the Taj Mahal and that was enough.
welcome home - you come to truly appreciate your home, the civilness of traffic, the clean streets and the fresh air.

Maria, Glad to hear you are doing okay :) Sounds like a lot of moving around everyday.
We woke up to 3 inches of snow this morning! Buddie wasn't sure what to do with it all. He bounced around and around and then raced around the yard!!
Love you.

So the question is.... Maria, did any white rats cross your feet??! What a wild thought! Only India would have a Rat Temple! I can just see you on that camel now... glad to hear it was a longer ride than the one we had in the Middle East.. even if your bum is a tad sore!

Sorry to hear you got bitten Maria. Guess Canadians are hard to resist eh?! Hope you're alright. I love the photo you got of the guy with the huge moustache! We got snow this morning... a very light dusting of snowflakes, however, not enough to shovel... hurray! Celebrated my Mom's birthday yesterday with cheesecake... yum! Too bad you're not closer as we'd share some with you! It's delicious... amaretto cheesecake, my new specialty!

It started to snow here today so enjoy the heat in India! Been enjoying all your posts. The one where you got stung with a beast had me laughing out loud especially the part about the incest spray. Too funny. Hope you haven't had too many more run ins with those pesky critters.

Nameste Maria! Have any of the locals congratulated you on getting married yet? That's what happened to me when a lady at the Delhi airport saw my hands & feet covered in henna! That sure was funny! Your trip sounds fantastic Maria! Keep belly dancing & have fun!
