Again, doing the tourist thing after breakfast. We didn't venture too far, just within a square mile of the hotel. It was interesting seeing locals do their thing, killing, plucking and eating within a swoop. You really can't get fresher than that.

We all went for a walk around Hoan Kien Lake in the centre of town. Its a big lake, with water a murky green in colour but is supposed to be full of turtles. Dave being the fisherman, did claim he saw one. I was thinking there was more chance of seeing Nessie!! After the walk, we ended up on a tour on an electric vehicle. Again, cheap as chips at about £5.

It may have been very informative if you could hear over the hundreds of car, bus and scooter horns beeping. The tour lasted about 20 mins which meant time for lunch and beer. A little cafe, just at the side of the lake, looked like a good spot for lunch. Lunch and drinks for 10 worked out at about £28, bargain!! We moved on to City View Cafe overlooking the lake for afternoon drinks to take in the hustle and bustle. Have a look at the video posted on facebook. This was nothing like HCMC but you will see its total madness.

Back to the hotel, changed and out for dinner. Its not going to be a late one tonight as there is football on at 03.45 and at 08.00 we set off to Ha Long Bay, so early night for some i'm afraid
