We all woke and some decided to try the breakfast before getting ready for the taxi ride to the airport. Fortunately, this time there was no dramas, just funny sights along the way. After a night on the beer watching football, the next day we thought we would do the tourist thing, although with a hangover, so a bit of sightseeing was in order. Off we went in taxi's to the war museum to look at some Vietnam history. Apparently it was a bit busy round here in the late 60's and early 70's with an altercation. Hotel Nikko is very nice and clean. Something that you would expect from a 5 star gaff. Saying that...and most importantly its cheap . The toilets are like something out of the Starship Enterprise with automatic doors in the toilets without the swush making noise. Well this is really turning in to an adventure The hotel that Etihad provided was average enough for one night although it was looking a little tired. Joanne would like to mentioned that the bed was way too small which I concur. We all woke for breakfest....again average, and departed for our re-routed trip to Ho Chi Minh City via London Heathrow with BA then to Bangkok with Thai Air. Following that, Thai Air again to HCMC. Well the trip didnt get off to the start we hoped for. All arrived at the airport to discover that the flight to Abu Dhabi had been cancelled "apparently due to fog". So tonight is a stop over in a local average hotel and tomorrow we will try again. This is where it gets interesting, the route is london, Bangkok and finally Saturday morning we arrive in Siagon.
