We got an overnight bus from Don Det to Vietiane and stayed there for the day while the others got their visa for Vietnam. We got a bus from Phnom Penh to a little town called Stung Tren which was close to the boarder of Laos and had to stay there overnight. It's quite a small town with very little to do. The next morning we got a boat across the Mekong, a bus across the boarder and then another boat across over to Don Det. Don Det is a small island which is part of the 4,000 Islands.
