John took me down to Fremantle today which I absolutely loved. It was really quirky and reminded me of Bristol just a much smaller version. There were loads of bars just lined along the street and water front so of course we stopped along the way a few times, would be rude not to! There was an indoor market with jewellery, clothes and food so we had a quick walk through but we didn't have much time as John had to go and pick shae up. With even just a quick look around I could see myself staying there to work and live especially with it being on the waterfront. I definitely want to go back there before I leave and Leah was telling me about a chilli festival there on the 2nd March, so will hopefully be going to that!
We got back to Amanda's at 6ish and were then heading out to Eleni and Rowan's school disco which was very bizarre. The disco was outside with the families sat round the dance floor with picnics and drinking, as time went on there were a few half cut parents throwing some shapes on the dance floor, it was hilarious! Of course me, Amanda and Brett couldn't resist a bit of a boogie. We then went back to Amanda's friends house who live round the corner from her's, who are absolutely lovely and to top it off have a bar in their back garden. We had a brilliant evening and were completely trashed! Me and Amanda were falling over on the way back, which ended in me knocking myself out on the way meaning Brett and their neighbour having to carry me back out cold! It was so embarrassing I hadn't even met their neighbour at this point! I woke up in the morning not knowing any of this but there was photographic evidence which I will not be sharing with you! Amanda had a graze above her lip and my ear was rip to shreds where she had tried dragging me...what a mess!
With what was in my top 10 worst hangovers Leah was that night taking me to a place called Joondalup do go out drinking with her friends. After struggling with the first few drinks I then felt fantastic. We went to a few bars managing to catch some of the Wales game which gave us cause for celebration as they won. We then went on to a club...where Leah got kicked out!
Vicky and I nearly didn't get in because we had British ID this is when I began to see how strict the bouncers are here about anything! Eventually we got in, we were having an amazing night meeting lots of people. We were talking to a guy outside and for some reason Leah decided to play a game with him. The one when your back to back and link arms trying to pick each other up. Well Leah picked him up all right to the point he flipped over and face planted the floor with her landing on top! It was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time, he got up with a chunk of his chin missing but we were all laughing. The only reason she then got chucked because this girl who they had brushed passed as they went down wanted compensation (deadly serious) and when Leah refused she went and told the bouncer that Leah had pushed her...crazy Aussie!
Great and messy weekend! Looking forward to this week with next weekend being spent at the future music festival in joondalup, so excited! Until next time :)
