We arrived in Bali yesterday with no problems. Getting through customs was a breeze, we just had to purchase a $25 sticker to put in our passports. After getting slightly scammed by our taxi driver (he didn't take us all the way to our hotel), we checked in and immediately walked the 5 minutes to the beach.
We're staying on Legian, and it's a fantastic beach. Over 12km! There's tosn of places to get a chair, coconut, and ice cold Bintang, of which we got all three!
After relaxing in our chairs and enjoying the view from under our parasol for just about 20 minutes, we bumped into Blake, our friend from South Korea. Kenny had told Blake and Neil where we'd be staying, and we made plans to meet up today. By the time we got back to our hotel later on, Neil had slid a note under our door wanting to meet up as well.
For dinner, we stopped at an open air restaurant on the main drag near our hotel. We chose the Nasi Goreng, and a hot plate stir fry with beef and vegetables. I was starving, and it really hit the spot. We're spoilt for dining choices here, but are really hoping to have some grilled seafood soon.
Time to meet up with everyone, so more later!

Vic If you're still on Legian, pop into Seaside for kickass Mexican. It's actually in Seminyak, but it's right on the beach.
Anne Megan I love your detailed descriptions. Keep them up! Kenny, your two boxes arrived today. Do you want me to open them and make sure all is well?
