We survived white water rafting yesterday! I must say, there were a few close calls. At one point, Carrie was grabbing on to my arm to keep me from falling out of the boat. It was quite the professional outfit: great guides who were knowledgeable and funny, great food and well organized.
We left there for Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean side. The town was sort of a cool laid back place with lots of colorful signage. If you want to surf and do yoga, this is the place for you!
We cycled up to the beach at Manzanillo which took us just under an hour. Our original plan was quashed as we wanted to hike to a waterfall and swim, but we couldn't find the place. Oh well! On the bike ride back it started pouring rain. We got a little chilled but it wasn't anything that a good beer couldn't fix!
