So! Last time I was here I think I was in Croatia. Since then I've had a 7 hour breakdown in Croatia (next to the lovely village of Selce, which has a nice harbour, several sailing ships and even a ship which looks like the Black Pearl, complete with Captain Jack Sparrow and Mr Gibbs supervising from the rigging. You can hire said ship for evening cruises at a range of prices dependant upon your requirements. Yup, spent waaaaaay too much time there), other tours etc, and am now back in London. With 2 pieces of news. 1st is I'm now a redhead with hair a lot shorter than it was only a few days ago; and 2 is now Topdeck's heading into its quieter season I'm on the lookout for other jobs! So far the plan is to get out of London as quickly as possible-- I was staying with a mate for a few days who yesterday saw a van with 'Bushwakkers' on it- it's like a country hotel type place with horses and 2 dogs, so I emailed the guy and said Hi, I want to work for you, when do I start... Not actually expecting to hear back at all as it didn't look as though there were any vacancies but I figure worth a shot- especially since it's in the Brecon Beacon National Park in Wales, which just so happens to be where the SAS train... hmmmm...
Ha, so if there's anyone who knows someone in the UK who's looking for a good, hard working, funny, intelligent lass, let me know! Otherwise in the next few days I'm going to head up to Scotland (or Wales. Or somewhere that isn't London) and find work there. The only thing is now I need to be a bit more money conscious, at least until I get another job. That should be the theory anyway.
In any case, today is SATURDAY!!! I'm off to the markets.. ;)
