Croatia, Pag Island in fact. Love it! It's an extremely dry, very big island- hardly any grass around though apparently they have sheep here. yup. The weather is meant to be gorgeous and to be honest it's defo pretty hot, but at the minute thatnkfully not too sunny- good thing too as our hotel doesn't have air con.
I'm now on my third trip- this hotel group is completely different from the last hotel group, though I have to say the hostel group I had last left pretty big shoes to fill!
I'm almost over this prat of a cough I've had for a couple weeks- picked it up from said hostel group and have had it ever since, though the hotels and 'free' days have helped. I'd like to try a camping trip at some stage but we'll see what comes up as I've probably only got a few trips left before end of summer season. I'm defintely going to put my hand up for winter too as I think it'd be fun, also that way I get more practice for next summer- am determined to get a SPM (Spain Portugal Morocco) trip.. being fluent in spanish helps but experience is the main thing too!
Being TL is a lot harder in some ways and a lot easier in others. I've got the info there which is easy, the hard part is accepting people leave their good manners and basic courtesy at home when they're on holiday! This group are pretty good though I've had a couple of times when someone's yelled out some order and I've turned around and said 'Please'. They get the picture and life's good.
Anyway. I'm on Pag Island in Croatia and it's a stunning place- not as good as Dubrovnik but definitely not bad! Tomorrow early morning we head to Ljubljana then on to Salzburg the followig day, so the endd of the trip is unfortunately nigh. It's weird- there's always so much going on that you never get too much spare time yet when someone asks what's all the news, there just isn't any!
