So! So much to do, say, think about, do, say, do etc! I think last time I was on this I was in Croatia-- well, 7 hours worth of breakdown on the Croatian roadside next to the lovely village of Selce (where down by the docks is a nice sail boat a'la the Black Pearl, including even a Cpt Jack Sparrow and Mr Gibbs look-alikes), and other tours later, I'm now back in London.
Exciting news of the moment- well there're actually 2. 1st up is I now have red hair which is about half the length it was just a few days ago; and 2, Topdeck's on its way into low season which means a hell of a lot less trips & a hang of a lot more time between them etc, so I'm looking at what to do next. So far the plan is: Get out of London, quickly. I'll either head up to Scotland or across to Wales in the next week or so at the longest depending on things and where's the cheaper place to get to. So, if there's anyone in the UK reading this who's looking to hire a lovely, funny, even tempered good hard working gal, let me know! I think the easiest thing to do is go to a different city or town and find work there, so methinks Edinburgh is on the top of the list! Unless...I was staying with a mate for a few days, who told me about a random van with 'bushwakkers' on it- it's a country hotel type thing with horses and looks fun (and is in the Brecon Beacon National Park...where the UK SAS train...) so I emailed the guy to say Hi and if they need another hand, and just waiting to hear back. I doubt that one's going to come to anything but it's worth a shot!
Life here in the UK- from the short amount of time I've actually spent here rather that tripping around Europe- is fun and I'm definitely enjoying it. The pound vs the NZ$$ is shocking so I should probably at least pretend to be money conscious (at least until I get my next job sorted) but I'm having too much fun so figure why not, as when's the next chance I'm going to have the opportunity to do this?! I check back in to the Clink hostel today into a private room (yay!!) so am going to get all my crap, go through everything, and sort out what I'm keeping and what I'm not. Then get rid of as much as possible, so if anyone out there's interested in buying a discount used pair of socks off me, just let me know!

Anyway on that happy note- it's SATURDAY!!! I'm off to the markets... ;)
