So we might call today " driver and navigator arguement day. We left the hotel early to go and pick our car up at Alamo. All went smoothly but I went to hand back to the attendant what I thought was a vacuum brush attachment to be told that it was to clear snow from the windscreen. So feeling a bit stupid we left and attempted to leave Boston. This is when the arguements and niggling started as I thought Paul was driving too close to the wrong side and he didn't ( he was).
We pulled over half way and had a highly nutritious breakfast at Dunkin Donuts before heading to Plymouth. I am loving these smaller towns and the houses are really cute. What wasn't cute was the laundromat we found when we got to Plymouth. So we headed in and started loading the machines when we realised we didn't have washing powder. So Paul took a walk while I waited. Half hour later he returned empty handed so I took the car on a search, thankfully finding a 711. So we had an awesome time hanging in the laundromat but we at least have clean clothes.
We then checked into the hotel to be told that snow was on its way and we should wake up to snow on thanksgiving morning.... Awesome when we are doing the turkey trot, apparently now in the snow.
We then drove through Plymouth and into surrounding areas and the kids found yet another dollar store and we went to the supermarket. We ended the day with a walk along the waterfront and checking out the many restaurants for tomorrow. Lesson learned for today....don't buy seafood salad at the supermarket
